It is designed to show the user one aspect of the proposed home library system - in this case how the search works.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although it doesn't do very much, it does give the user a clearer idea of what happens when the Buttons are pressed.

 

 

A prototype is a preliminary or test solution that can be shown to a potential end user of a system.

They can be classified as either functional or non-functional - depending upon whether they can demonstrate results to the user. The IB dossier requires students to develop a non-functional prototype.
